U.S. Senator Jay Rockefeller Announces New Development at The Highlands

Triadelphia, WV - An enthusiastic crowd welcomed U.S. Senator Jay Rockefeller to The Highlands on Mon., Aug. 27, 2007. Senator Rockefeller was on hand to announce the development of a new state-of-the-art AT&T Customer Care facility.

The new 45,000 sq. ft. AT&T Customer Care facility is tentatively scheduled to open in the spring or summer of 2008. The facility will handle inbound service calls from AT&T Wireless customers worldwide with projected employment expected to top 200 jobs.

U.S. Senator Jay Rockefeller arrives at The Highlands on Monday, Aug. 27, 2007. Senator Rockefeller announced the development of a new 45,000 sq. ft. AT&T Wireless inbound call center. The new development will create 200 new jobs for Ohio County.

Site of New AT&T Inbound Wireless Customer Care Facility at The Highlands

Pictured above is the site of AT&T's new state-of-the-art Customer Care facility. The site sits just west of the new Kohls store. The facility is expected to employ 200 with an opening scheduled for the spring or summer of 2008. AT&T has the largest wireless subscriber base in the country with 63.7 million customers.
